William W. Quick, MD, FACP, FACE

Dr. William Quick is a Medical Director for pharmacovigilance for the Shering-Plough pharmaceutical company. He previously was in private practice at the Midwest Diabetes Care Center in Independence, Missouri. He has been a specialist in diabetes care and endocrinology for 30 years.

Bill, as he prefers to be called, is a nationally-known expert in diabetes education, and is a past president of the American Association of Diabetes Educators. He is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, and also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology and Diabetes Care, and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. He lives with his wife Stephanie (who is a diabetes nurse educator), and with their three cats and two dogs. His daughter Jennifer is an attorney, who lives in a small town in Minnesota with her husband, their one kid, and multiple cats.
